Hotel chosen for access to explore NYC and surrounding burroughs without paying a Manhattan hotel pricetag. Not the greatest neighbourhood but easy access to subway and buses. Nicer areas of Brooklyn (e.g. Prospect Park) within walking distance. In-room wifi, microwave and fridge made self catering a few meals easy. Fitness room small but was used comfortably every da during our 10 day stay.

The size in the interior is fairly good. I tended to have time cleanly. Times Square was immediately on foot and the subway station crossed the way in front of the hotel, and was immediately.

I stayed in Best Western Plus Arena Hotel just after landing in JFK. Eventhough the immediate surroundings of the hotel are really gloomy but it gets better after a very short walk. The subway station (direct to Manhattan) is just a 5mn walk away, and the train to JFK stops just in front. It makes this hotel a very fair price for NYC.
