Helpdesk Pro - Demo instruction
Helpdesk Pro is a helpdesk/ support tickets extension for Joomla. It allows customers to submit support tickets, communicate with people from your company (admin, managers, support staffs) to get their issues shorted. There are 4 types of users in the system:
1. Admin
Admin, basically can do everything in the system includes :
- Manage tickets from all categories.
- Access to any ticket, reply to ticket, communicate directly with customer to get the issue sorted.
- Assign ticket to staff. Monitor communication between staff and customer during support process to ensure it is handled properly.
- Login with username helpdeskadmin and password helpdeskadmin to use the extension with admin role.
2. Manager
- Manage tickets from the categories which he is setup as manager.
- Access to ticket (from the categories which he manage), communicate directly with customer to get the issue sorted
- Assign ticket to staff. Monitor communication between staff and customer during support process to ensure it is handled properly.
- Login with username helpdeskmanager and password helpdeskmanager to use the extension with manager role.
3. Staff
- Access and replies to tickets which he is assigned to as staff (by Admins or Managers)
- Login with username helpdeskstaff and password helpdeskstaff to use the extension with staff role.
4. Customer
- Submit tickets to receive help from the company.
- Manage his own tickets, communicate, reply to ticket until the issue sorted.
- Login with username helpdeskuser and password helpdeskuser to use the extension with customer role.
5. Features you won't see
There are some features which you do not see while trying to use demo feature of the extension setup here
- Emails Notification: When someone add or reply to a ticket, normally, there will be email notification. But you do not get emails here because of all the demo accounts which are configured here are from our own email addresses
- Reply Via Email Feature : Helpdesk Pro has a plugin to allow users to reply to a ticket by just sending/replying email. See https://helpdeskprodoc.joomservices.com/cerate-and-reply-tickets-via-email for more detailed information.
